Ok, so it's going to be 74 degrees today & 76 degrees Saturday! YAY! Can we say GOOD-BYE to that damn DARN HAWK! SHHEESSHH! That lil nigga was VICIOUS this year! I got smacked, stole off on, jumped, he even had me CUSSING...geezz. ANYWAY, (i think i might have to blog about that nigga..lol) I am ready for the WARM WEATHER, I am ready to embrace SPRING with open ARMS on SATURDAY! The trends for this Spring/Summer (i suppose) are as follows (not in any particular order):
- Boyfriend Blazer/Tailored Vest: The blazer is a simple way to look chic whether on a fresh Spring day or mild a Summer's night (I don't know about a summer night. I would burn up childdd).
- Jumpsuits: one-piece styles of clothing have a revival. What started with bodysuits and leotards is now becoming a fully-fledged trend towards jumpsuits, playsuits, and rompers. (nice)
- Headband Craze: OH YEAH! Attention drawing OVERSIZED headbands and bows. They are sooo cute.
- Heavy Prints : Bold geometric patterns... Stripes are still in, but not in their usual form. Expect stripes to take on a new almost optical illusion feel. Heavy print leggings are going to be especially hot for spring.
- Ripped, Torn, Distressed Denim: Very sexy and revealing (oh lala)
- Futuristic: sci-fi finds its way into fashion in various forms, as do re-interpretations of traditional futurist concepts.
- Sporty: Rarely do sports and high fashion have similar aesthetics. In Spring 2010, lace-up shorts, v-neck sweaters and fashion-conscious sweatpants make an effortlessly sexy and competitive look *kanye shrug, i don't know about this*
