Burberry: Studded or Spiked Sleeve Coat

*Faints* The photos are from the Burberry Spring/Summer Collection 2011. The photo on top is Burberry Studded Sleeve Bonded Twil Trench Coat and the photo below that is the Garbardine Studded Shoulder Peplum Jacket. I know winter is almost over but if I could get my "hands" on EITHER one of these coats, I don't think I would take it off the whole SUMMER. *three snaps in a Z formation* Retail says $4,495.00 and $3,595.00 (US dollars). Looks up into the great heavenly sky, lets all sing in harmony "wait til I get my money riiigghhttt" ...(Kanye voice).

Color Me Red: Kanye West Edition

We can all agree that Rihanna can NOT sing LIVE. Her performance half-time at the NBA All-Star Weekend wasn't that great. Luckily, Kanye came out to save the day in his RED DISCO PANTS! *LONG PAUSE* Kanye's red tights TOTALLY stole the show! I have a PAIR of these pants in my closet, NO LIE! I got mine from American Apparel (http://www.americaapparel.net/). They fit like a GLOVE on me and apparently on KANYE TOO! But I am a girl though, see American Apparel model below:

Now, that you know where I purchase my pants from. I wonder where Kanye got his from? I didn't know they even made them for guys. FELLAS, would you rock a pair of RED DISCO PANTS? Maybe Kanye is the only brother I know that can pull this look off or did he pull this look off? You be the judge.

For Ladies Only: Introducing Crackle Nail Polish

Ok ladies (and maybe be gentlemen too), I wanted to share this HOT new nail polish that's taking the market by storm. This nail polish has every girly girl RAVING EVERYWHERE. I must say it's a SPRING yes, or any season YES! It's called CRACKLE NAIL! Soon as this nail polish hit the shelves about two weeks ago, it sold out INSTANTLY. Crackle nail polish is exactly what the nail polish does when you apply it…CRACKS. The nail polish simply breaks apart or rather SHATTERS right before your eyes. Cosmetic lines such as OPI, China Glaze, Barry M. (above picture), and etc. are all launching their crackle nail polish line before this spring. So, ladies make sure you purchase a bottle of this nail polish for the spring, so you can have some AMAZING NAILS.

How to Apply Crackle Nail Polish:

1. Apply base coat: This can be any regular nail polish color, you chose. Remember this will be the base color of the nail. Make sure this coat is COMPLETELY dry for the best "crackle" result.
   



2. 
   Simply paint your crackle coat on, then watch and see how the nail polish cracks before your eyes.
   



3. After, nail polish begins to crack. Apply any regular top coat after the crackle nail polish is completely dry.
   

Keep It Cute...Or Keep it on Mute??

Well let’s cut to the chase and take this from the TOP (literally):

1. Hair: Kind of reminds me of a cross between Magre Simpson and Kid from House Party. AND that pink is so childish, how old are we? Get it together

2. Makeup: FLAWLESS. I’m pretty sure she is rocking her latest lipstick edition to MAC cosmetics “Pink Friday” (in stores NOW). Sidenote: Ladies, I can’t stress this ENOUGH. KNOW WHAT SHADES WORK WITH YOUR SKIN TONE!!!!!! If you are in doubt, it’s okk to get assistance from the worker in the Mac store. I have WITNESSED so many ladies “rocking” a lipstick color that doesn’t COMPLIMENT their skin tone.

3. Outfit: Hmmm.Hmmm.. Once again I’m no fashion guru but I’m feeling the 80’s crazy graphic look and how it’s making a STRONG comeback. BUT I feel as if the JACKET with the matching TIGHTS is a BIT MUCH. Do you agree???

4. Shoes: YES. I need those in my LIFE! Love those shoes. The shoes are courtesy of Walter Steiger (never heard of him) but check him out www.waltersteiger.com

5. Accessories: BLAH!

After carefully evaluating Miss Harajuku Pink Barbie Nicki Minaj . I would have to tell her to KEEP IT ON MUTE! I love the tights and I love the jacket but not together. And that hair alone is TOTALLY BLASHEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Therefore, when I put a person on MUTE, please don’t think I’m hating or what not. NEVER! Many of times a person can have nice pieces but it’s how they put it together, which seems to be the underlying issue, with a lot of these HOT MESSES walking around here these days. So, when we put people on MUTE, the logical thing to do is REVAMP their look. So let’s REVAMP Nicki shall we (see photo below):

1. Hair: Cut that curl FAT-TOP off her head. And LEAVE the short hairstyle BENEATH the foolery BUT color it that JET black

2. Makeup: I wouldn’t touch. I like the pink lip or any touch of color to bring your ensemble to life.

3. Outfit: Put the jacket to the side for a later date because we will use it on another occasion. So, I’m guessing we are going for a “club” look. I would keep the tights because if you want to stand out then I guarantee you will in those tights. For the top, we would simply add a black blazer because the tights are ENOUGH within itself.

4. Shoes: Keep the shoes because they give the outfit the POP it needs.

5. Accessories: Nothing major, just a simple bracelet and earrings will do

In conclusion, do you agree with me or do you disagree? Would you really ‘rock’ a pink curly FLAT TOP in public? Do you believe this is fashion or pure costume foolery? Most importantly, would you tell Nicki Minaj to Keep it Cute or Put it on Mute? (You be the JUDGE).
